The "South Florida Diving Headquarters Bugfest" is a contest for scuba divers centered around Florida's annual lobster mini-season.
The contest is on July 30, 2025 (Wednesday) and Everyone has a chance to win!
$100.00 for a two tank dive trip, includes your registration to BUGFEST, does not include the bugs! Does not include the tank, weights, any gear or FWC License.
Trips out of Pompano Beach on South Florida Diving Headquarters' Boats...various times available.
Departures Available are 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM
Weigh-in for BUGFEST will be from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. The weigh-in station will be set up in Pompano at the South Dock at the Tiki Hut behind where the boats are docked.
Each diver will receive a raffle ticket. Plus an additional raffle ticket for each lobster you catch. (increase your chances to win)
So even if you don't catch the biggest lobster, you could still go home with a great prize.
