Do you want to go beyond the recreational limits of diving? Perhaps you want to explore deeper sites, or get extra bottom time beyond the no-decompression limit. Maybe you just want to have a greater understanding of what decompression diving is? If so, then maybe technical diving is what you're after.
South Florida has many great dive sites that are deeper than 130 feet. Some of the biggest wrecks in South Florida are deeper than 150 feet (like the famous Hydro Atlantic in Boca at 175 FSW), and as deep as 300 feet! At Force-E, we'll teach you the safe and competent way to dive the deeper sites between 130 and 330 feet!
Test Your Knowledge:
There are many options & paths to becoming a technical scuba diver depending on your current certification level. We have multiple training agencies which use online academics and some bookwork to learn the physics, physiology and gear requirements for each tech level.
Get in the Pool:
Some of the tech courses require pool training with a Force-E Instructor to go over your gear configurations, buoyancy control and safety skills. This is also an opportunity to try new gear!
Open Water:
Depending on which course you take with a Force-E Instructor, there will be dives required for certification. We offer multiple dive sites to help you achieve your rating and peak your interest for your next course.
Each of these courses vary in pricing, please email us or contact one of the stores directly to learn more. (Pricing does not include tech fills or academics: book or online course, purchase separately)
Instructor levels for all the above classes are available as well with Force-E Instructor James Weber.
Each technical diving course has special prerequisites and gear requirements. Of course Force-E has everything you need from stage bottles, reels, backplates, wings, and more.
If you have any questions, you can always contact us, or just stop in to your nearest Force-E location to find out about starting your adventure into Technical Diving today.
