Every day at Force-E we receive emails, phone calls and in-person visits from both locals and vacationers. Divers request information about dive sites, need help fixing their gear, or even ask how the weather forecast will effect diving conditions. Since Force-E opened in 1976, customers have trusted our knowledge and advice. We’re happy to help you in the shop, but our staff are eager to go one step further. We can join you underwater as a private guide!
In our boat briefings, we joke about drift diving as “lazy man diving.” Under water, we move along with the flow of the ocean. We explain to out-of-towners that when they come up from a dive, they should stay put, and wait for “curbside pickup.” When we surface, we deploy our surface marker buoys and the captain brings the boat right over to us. South Florida divers know we are spoiled, but how much do we know about the elements that converge to create this unique form of scuba diving?
Every scuba diver has a different “style.” We tend to plan our dives around what we love to see or experience underwater.
